SQL Server & Oracle Database Administrator
Tetra Tech is a looking for a self-motivated, skilled Database Administrator. This position initially will require 70% SQL Server and 30% Oracle database administrative duties and will adjust over time. It requires someone who is a senior level SQL Server DBA and a mid-level Oracle DBA. This position would be the link between the application and business teams and will facilitate database migration, consolidation, and daily system support from various offices into Enterprise Database Farms.

Job Requirements :
Minimum Requirements
Candidate shall have bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or minimum four years of technical experience in database administration or other technical field. Also, required to have four or more years of database administration experience in Microsoft SQL; two years of Linux Oracle database administration. Candidate should have sound time management and planning skills, good oral and written communication skills; and as needed manage small to medium size database projects in conjunction with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Job Description :
In pursuit of an effective information safety and security strategy for key organizations, Pro-Telligent (A Tetra Tech Company) is seeking an SME for an initial period of 30-60 days with a possible periodic engagement thereafter.
Responsibilities
  •   Drive the creation of a thorough and implementable information Safety and Security Strategy (SecStrat) that addresses a number of concerns including, but not limited to:
  •  Create an effective initial and ongoing training strategy for Syrian beneficiaries and sub-grantees
  •   Create organization-appropriate security practices that are effective and reasonably easy to maintain
  •  Update the Safety and Security Strategy at a pace that matches the pace of attacks used by enemy actors
  •  Prioritize working with organizations by risk profile  Identify and prioritize key actors within key organizations
  •   Identify relevant hardware and software solutions
  •  Develop appropriate SOPs for continued survey and audit of organizations
  •  Develop solution for the sharing of relevant unclassified security information across all partners
  • Propose solutions to challenges outlined in the Safety and Security Strategy
  • Identify critical SecStrat recommendations for U.S. government actors and US/UK implementing partners that communicate with Syrian beneficiaries, sub-grantees, and contact
  •   Conduct security practices outreach and analysis of CSO-identified key organizations in Turkey
  • Liaise with CSO staff in Turkey and in Washington D.C.
